The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets recently held. Tusculum's Faith Bostick earns the track accolade while Lenoir-Rhyne's Jordan Williams earns the field honor.
A sophomore sprinter, Bostick, competed in the Catamount Classic this past weekend where she placed first in the 100 and 200 meters with times of 12.14 seconds and 24.64 seconds respectively. This is Bostick's first Track Athlete of the Week honor this season.
A junior multi competitor, Williams competed in the Southside Power and Fitness Invite this past weekend where she placed second in the long jump with a leap of 5.13m. This is Williams' first Field Athlete of the Week honor this season.
