Caroline Kraemer Wins Elite 90™ Award for NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Caroline Kraemer, a sophomore at Queens University of Charlotte, is the recipient of the Elite 90 award for the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Championship.
Kraemer, majoring in communications, currently carries a 4.0 GPA. She was presented with the award on Thursday, May 19 in Saint Charles, Mo. Kraemer is the second Queens women's lacrosse player to earn the honor after Allison Conn was named the 2019 Elite 90 Award Recipient. Additionally, Kraemer is the fifth Royal to receive the recognition in history and the third just this season.
The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.
Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above academically who have participated in a sport for at least two years with their school. All ties are broken by the number of credits completed.

The Royals are scheduled to face East Stroudsburg in the NCAA DII Women's Lacrosse National Semifinals tomorrow at 5 p.m. in Saint Charles, Mo.
