Two SAC Women's Lacrosse Teams Ranked in NCAA DII South Region Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had two schools ranked in the NCAA South Region Women's Lacrosse poll released by the NCAA on Wednesday (May, 4). Queens took the top spot at No. 1 in the rankings, while Wingate moved up to spot No. 3.
In addition to the two SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, Flordia Southern took the No. 2 spot followed by, Tampa at No. 3, Rollins at No. 5 and Embry-Riddle at No. 6.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
