BALTIMORE, Md.- Following what appeared to be shaping up to be another promising season for the Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team before it was cut short due to COVID-19, three Royals have been named to the Inside Lacrosse Women's Division II Media All-America lists. Senior attacker Ally Blood was named to the first team, while senior attacker Rachel Perrett and senior goalkeeper Chase Brokaw were named to the honorable mention team.
This is Blood's second time earning All-American honors after the 2019 South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year was named an IWLCA All-American following the team's 2019 run to the Final Four. This season, Blood totaled 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists in just five games. She also totaled a season-high 10 points in the Royals' win over North Greenville and crossed the 200-career point mark in Queens' win over Florida Southern. She currently ranks top five in Queens program history in points and assists.
Perrett earns the honor for the first time in her career after being named to the NCAA All-Tournament team following the Royals' trip to the Final Four. This season, she totaled 21 points on 14 goals and seven assists.
Brokaw earns the recognition after being named an IWLCA All-American last season after also being named to the NCAA All-Tournament team. This season, she went 4-0 after totaling 31 saves with a .554 save percentage. She leaves Queens with the most wins in program history with 44.
