The South Atlantic Conference Announces Seeds for the 2015 SAC Women's Lacrosse Championship

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens won its second-straight South Atlantic Conference Regular-Season Championship as it captured the 2015 Title. With the crown, the Royals have earned the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship, it was determined today as the Conference season concluded this afternoon. Queens finished the season with an 8-0 League record.
Lenoir Rhyne claimed the No. 2 seed as it finished the Conference season at 7-1. Tusculum and Catawba finished the its League slates with identical 5-3 records. The Pioneers won the head-to-head match up to break the tie and earn the No. 3 seed, leaving Catawba at No. 4. Wingate and Coker also finished the Conference season in a tie with 4-4 records. The Bulldogs defeated the Cobras on March 21 to pick up the No. 5 as Coker rounds out the seeds at No. 6.
Queens and Lenoir-Rhyne each earned a bye to semifinals. The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, April 14 at campus sites with the semifinals and finals taking place at Queens on April 17 and 18. The tournament schedule is listed below:
