WINGATE, N.C. (TheSAC.com) -- Lenoir-Rhyne Softball won its third straight game over rival Wingate and overcame a 5-0 deficit. The Bears scored seven runs in the bottom of the third to move to the Championship game of the Regional. Anderson was eliminted from the postseason with a loss to Lander and Wingate saw it's elimination game with the Bearcats suspended due to rain. Lander leads Wingate 3-0 in the top of the fifth inning.
The Lander/Wingate game will resume at 11 a.m. and the winner will then take on Lenoir-Rhyne needing to win twice to advance.
