#2 North Georgia Holds on for 1-0 Victory Over Wingate in Super Regional Finale
Dahlonega, Ga.----For just the second time this season, the second-ranked University of North Georgia Nighthawks were held to a run, but that would be enough to prevail in a tight 1-0 contest over #17 Wingate University in the NCAA Southeast Super Regional Friday afternoon. North Georgia advances to the College World Series, improving to 59-6 overall. The 'Dogs see their historic season come to an end at 48-17 overall.
