Four South Atlantic Conference Schools Ranked in Top 10 of NCAA Southeast Region Men's Tennis Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Four members of the South Atlantic Conference were ranked in the latest NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Southeast Region Poll, which was released by the NCAA on Wednesday (May 1). Wingate leads the way in the No. 3 spot, followed by Queens at No. 6, then Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 9 and Anderson at No. 10.
The SAC Champion Bulldogs finished the regular season with a record of 19-2 overall and are ranked No. 6 in the latest Oracle/ITA National Poll.
Queens is ranked No. 17 in the latest national poll with a record of 13-5, while Lenoir-Rhyne has a record of 17-4 and is ranked No. 22 in the national poll.
The Anderson has a record of 12-8 overall, and is ranked No. 36 in the Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections which will take place on Tuesday, May 7 at 8 p.m. on NCAA.com.
