Wingate's Canyadell Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Wingate Bulldog Josep Canyadell has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 5-11, the League announced today.

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate Bulldog Josep Canyadell has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 5-11, the League announced today.

Canyadell, a freshman from Lleida, Spain, picked up victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Bulldogs last week in a 9-0 win at Johnson C. Smith. Canyadell teamed with Duncan Addison for an 8-2 victory in doubles. He then capped off his day with a 7-5, 6-3 win in singles. 

This is Canyadell's first Player of the Week selection this year.
