Wingate's Marshall and Lenoir-Rhyne's Lobo and Fernandez Named to United Soccer Coaches Men's Soccer All-America Teams
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 1, 2022) -- United Soccer Coaches announced the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's All-Americans on Thursday.
Among the 34 men's soccer players receiving All-American recognition, there were three student-athletes from South Atlantic Conference institutions. Wingate's Owen Marshall was a first team defender, while Lenoir-Rhyne's Carles Montoliu Lobo was named to the second team as a midfielder, and Lenoir-Rhyne's Dani Fernandez was named a third team defender.
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
