Fifteen SAC Men's Soccer Players Earn United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 9, 2019) -- United Soccer Coaches announced on Monday the 2019 All-Region Teams for NCAA Division II Men's Soccer. Fifteen South Atlantic Conference players were named to the All-Southeast Region team.
Queens and Wingate had four players each named to the all-region teams, while Anderson and Carson-Newman had two players each, and Coker, Lincoln Memorial, and Newberry had one selection each.
The teams are selected through voting by member coaches in those respective divisions. Student-athletes earning First Team All-Region honors are now eligible to earn All-America status.
The All-America Teams for NCAA Division II will be announced on Wednesday evening, Dec. 11, while the NCAA Division I Men's All-America Team will be announced on Thursday evening, Dec. 12 in conjunction with their respective pre-championship banquets.
