ROCK HILL, S.C. – The 2014 Food Lion SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship bracket is set after Saturday's regular-season finales, with Queens headlining the field as its top seed.
Queens and Lenoir-Rhyne shared the SAC regular-season title after each going 6-1 in the conference. Queens earns the No. 1 seed in the tournament, however, by virtue of its win over L-R on April 2.
The Royals are 10-4 overall, while the Bears – ranked 15th in the nation – enter the postseason 9-3.
Queens' SAC Championship semifinal opponent will be fourth-seeded Coker, which finished 4-3 in league matches. Coker tied with Catawba for fourth in the conference standings, but the Cobras receive the final tournament berth because of their head-to-head victory over the Indians on April 5.
