HARROGATE, TENN. - The Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters cruised to a 103-67 victory over the Emmanuel Lions to capture the 2021 NCAA Division II Southeast Region title on Tuesday (Mar. 16).
LMU's Jordan Guest was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. He scored a game-high 37 points in the championship game and pulled down five rebounds. Also earning All-Tournament team honors were LMU's Cameron Henry, Emmanuel's KJ Jones II and Brandon Simpson, and Tusculum's Trenton Gibson.
In addition to Guest's 37 point outburst, the Railsplitters had a pair of players score in double figures with Henry netting 18 points and four rebounds, and Alex Dahling had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Railsplitters move on to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in Evansville, Indiana, March 24-27.
