Three SAC Men's Basketball Teams Earn Bids to NCAA Southeast Regional
ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – Three South Atlantic Conference men's basketball teams have earned bids to the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Southeast Regional, the NCAA announced today. Queens earned the No. 1 seed and will host of the tournament at the Royals' Levine Center March 16, 17 and 19. Catawba earned the No. 4 seed and Lenoir-Rhyne was picked as the No. 6 seed.
The Southeast Regional is one of eight eight-team regionals, which will be played at on-campus sites. The eight regional champions will advance to the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Elite Eight will be held at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, March 20, 22 and 24, in conjunction with the 2018 NCAA Division II Women's Elite Eight. The women's games will be played March 27, 28 and 30.
