The South Atlantic Conference Posts Two Football Teams in the NCAA Regional Rankings

NCAA D-II Football Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted two teams in the NCAA Super Region II Regional Football Rankings, the NCAA announced recently. Wingate came in at No. 1, while Catawba checks in at No. 7.
The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 16 in the American Football Coaches Association D-II National Poll and sport a perfect 7-0 record on the 2017 season. In League action, Wingate is 4-0.
Catawba is 6-2 on the 2017 campaign and is 2-2 in SAC play.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Football Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
