10 SAC Football Student Athletes given 2016 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Ten student-athletes from the South Atlantic Conference have been named to the 2016 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team. Jamarcus Henderson from Newberry and Case Woodard from Catawba were named to the Second Team Defense All-America Team. Eight additional student athletes were all named with Honorable Mention honors including Karis Johnson from Brevard, Jerry Miclisse from Carson Newman, Quinzavious Sands from Catawba, Michael DeStephens from Lenoir-Rhyne, Jamel Harbison from Mars Hill, Raleigh Yeldell from Newberry, Jay Boyd from Tusculum, and Ray Edwards from Wingate. Below is a look at the players who earned the All-America Honors.
