The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-13, 2-7 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (7-12, 5-4 SAC) by a score of 4-3 Tuesday afternoon on the road.
HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (4-13, 2-7 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (7-12, 5-4 SAC) by a score of 4-3 Tuesday afternoon on the road.
Lenoir-Rhyne took all three doubles court, entering singles play up 1-0. The teams split singles play with the Lions taking flights 3-5. Eliot Deknuydt and Marcos Martinez won in straight sets while Jose Roa outlasted his opponent in the fourth flight, taking the third set 10-6.
Mars Hill takes to the road on Saturday, April 8 when they face Coker at 1:30 p.m.
