GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team (2-2-3, 0-0-2 SAC) drew 2-2 with Tusculum (5-1-1, 1-1-1 SAC) Wednesday night on the road.
Tusculum struck twice in the second half with both goals scored from Mo Bouta. He scored his second of the year in the 65th minute and tied the game at two in the 76th minute, assisted by Michele Di Miele.
Aimar Banuls scored his second of the season to open the scoring in the 43rd minute. Braxton Robinson picked up his first assist of the season. In the 55th minute, Jorge Perez Prada scored his second to double the Lions' lead.
Tusculum pumped 23 shots in the second half, outshooting Mars Hill 29-10 in the contest. Mo Bouta led all players with seven shot attempts, five on target. Peter Plougmand led Mars Hill with four attempts, three on target.
Logan Cassel made a career-high 11 saves.
The Lions take on Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. on the road.
