Lincoln Memorial's Smiddy Named SAC WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial guard Alexa Smiddy has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week seven of the 2024-25 season, the Conference announced today.

Smiddy, a junior from Somerset, Ky., poured in a season-high 28 points against Tusculum and played 39 minutes. Smiddy added four rebounds and four assists in the contest. For the week, she played all but one minute across two games and average 19.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game and 4.0 assists per game to go with two steals and two blocks. Smiddy hit six 3-pointers and shot 46.2 percent from beyond the arc.
