WePlayed Sports Softball Players of the Week Announced
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Softball Players of the Week for games played during week three of the 2025 season. Emory & Henry's Rachel Hill was named the Player of the Week and Wingate's Jillian Thomas was named the Pitcher of the Week.
Hill, a junior from Stanardsville, Va., led E&H at the plate to a four-win weekend including a pair of run-rule victories over No. 3 North Georgia. She finished the weekend 6-for-11 (.545), reaching base eight times in 15 plate appearances and was 2-for-3 with two RBI in both games against the Nighthawks, as the Wasps grabbed back-to-back run-rule wins.
