Four SAC Schools and 74 SAC Student-Athletes Earn Easton/ NFCA Academic Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Four SAC schools made an appearance in the 2022-23 Easton/ NFCA DII Team GPA list, while 74 SAC student-athletes were honored as 2022-23 Easton/ NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Carson-Newman ranked No. 31 with a 3.605 GPA, Tusculum came in at No. 33 with a 3.6 GPA, Coker tied with Alliance University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (FL) at No. 61 with a 3.49 GPA, and Wingate tied with Holy Family University with a 3.36 GPA.

Coker had the most student-athletes honored as All-American Scholar-Athletes with 14, followed by Carson-Newman and Tusculum with 13 each. Lincoln Memorial had 11 student-athletes named, Wingate had nine, and both Anderson and UVA Wise had seven.
