Lenoir-Rhyne's LaClair and Wingate's Brooks Named CSC First Team Academic All-Americans
AUSTIN, Texas- Lenoir-Rhyne's Talon LaClair and Wingate's Savanna Brooks earned first team Academic All-America honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Fifteen of the 34 members of the Academic All-America® Division II softball teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The 13 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.90.
LaClair, a graduate student infielder from Statesville, N.C., recorded a 4.0 GPA in Mathematics and holds a 4.0 GPA while studying Teaching.
Brooks, a sophomore infielder from Wingate, N.C., holds a 4.0 GPA while studying Exercise Science.
