The South Atlantic Conference Announces 2023 Softball All-Tournament Team and MVP

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial's Sterre den Duijn was tabbed the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Championship MVP as voted by the tournament participant head coaches, the Conference announced today. The panel also selected an 11-member All-Tournament Team.

den Duijn, a sophomore from Valkenswaard, Netherlands, earned the SAC Championship MVP Award after an outstanding performance in the best-of-three Championship Tournament. In game two of the Series, she was five-for-five with three homeruns, one triple, four RBI, and four runs scored to lead the Railsplitters to a crucial win, forcing a tiebreaking game that ultimately led Lincoln Memorial to the Championship crown. 

Lincoln Memorial led the way with four players named to the All-Tournament Team, followed by Carson-Newman, Wingate, and Catawba each with two and Lenoir-Rhyne with one. Below is a look at the 2023 SAC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team.
