Six SAC Schools Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Softball Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had six schools ranked in the NCAA Southeast Region Softball poll released by the NCAA on Wednesday (Apr. 19). Wingate was ranked No. 2, Lenoir-Rhyne No. 3, Carson-Newman No. 5, Lincoln Memorial No. 7, Catawba No. 8, and Newberry No. 10.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Softball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
