Carson-Newman Softball Team Nationally Ranked in NFCA Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2019 week 12 poll on Wednesday, May 8. Carson-Newman moved up in the rankings to No. 21.
The Eagles (28-10, 11-9 SAC) recently claimed hosting rights as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region and will face Anderson for the fourth time this season on Thursday (May 9) in the double-elimination tournament.
The 2019 NFCA Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the NCAA's eight regions.
