Carson-Newman Softball Team Nationally Ranked in NFCA Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2019 week 11 poll on Wednesday, May 1. Carson-Newman returned to the rankings at No. 23.
The Eagles (28-10, 11-9 SAC) finished the regular season as the No. 3 seed and finished as the runner-up in the SAC Championship game, defeating Queens and Coker on the way.
The 2019 NFCA Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the NCAA's eight regions.
