ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2019 week six poll on Wednesday, March 27. Lincoln Memorial jumped to No. 19, while Wingate rejoined the poll at No. 21.

The Railsplitters (26-6, 4-2 SAC) swept fellow SAC Tennessee school Carson-Newman, who was nationally-ranked at the time, and split their doubleheader with Queens during the week.

The Bulldogs (24-8, 5-1 SAC) sit atop the conference standings and are currently riding a six-game win streak. Over the weekend, Wingate shut out SAC opponent Mars Hill in a doubleheader, while winning two close contests over non-conference foe Lander.

The 2019 NFCA Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the NCAA's eight regions.
