HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Catawba snapped a 2-2 tie with back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning and went on to knock off 19th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne 5-2 at Byerly Park on Saturday afternoon at the 2016 South Atlantic Conference Softball Tournament. The Catawba Indians, now 37-13, advance to Sunday's championship game undefeated and will face either Lenoir-Rhyne or Queens. The top-seeded Bears fall to 45-10. FULL RECAP

Hartsville, S.C. – The No. 15 Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team (46-10) split its two games on Saturday to advance to the finals of the 2016 South Atlantic Conference Championship at Byerly Park Field.
