Lenoir-Rhyne To Play North Georgia In NCAA DII Southeast Super Regional Softball Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team (53-7) will face North Georgia (48-0) in the 2010 NCAA Division II Southeast Super Regional Tournament beginning Friday at 7:30 p.m., at Haines and Carolyn Hill Stadium in a best-of-three series in Dahlonega, Ga.

The second contest is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with a possible third game beginning at 5 p.m.

The winner will advance to the 2010 NCAA Division II Women's College World Series on May 27-31 at St. Joseph, Mo.

In the national polls, North Georgia is ranked No. 1 while L-R is ranked eighth.

The Saints and the Bears are ranked first and second, respectively, in the region and both prevailed at home in last weekend's regional tournaments.
