Six SAC Cross Country Runners Earn All-American Honors
All-America honors for the 2021 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Athletes from member institutions earned All-America recognition by finishing among the top-40 athletes in their gender's respective races this past weekend at the 2021 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Saint Leo, Florida.
Team titles went to Grand Valley State's men and Adams State's women. It was the Lakers' second title in program history, while the Grizzlies' won its second-straight crown and 19th overall.
Twenty-three different men's programs had at least one All-America athlete, compared to 21 women's programs.
