Men's Cross Country Grabs 8th Place at NCAA Championships; Three Royals Named All-American
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA DII Championships this morning in Sacramento, California grabbing two top 25 finishes as the 14th-ranked men earned eighth place and the women took 21st place. Wingate's Micah Kipchumba lowers school-record in national championship meet
Sacramento, Calif.----Wingate University men's cross country junior student-athlete Micah Kipchumba (Nakura, Kenya) lowered his own school record Saturday, finishing 95th in the NCAA Division II national championship meet Saturday at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course (Haggin Oaks lay-out). Kipchumba ran a 31:31.9 10K in his first appearance on the national stage. FULL RECAP
