Wingate's Le Grix Voted as 2024-25 SAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Wingate's Titouan Le Grix has been voted as the 2024-25 South Atlantic Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year the league announced today. He becomes the second straight athlete from Wingate to earn the distinction joining teammate Hamza Chahid.
Le Grix, a distance runner from Baillargues, France, won the NCAA Indoor Mile Championship and set a new Wingate mark in the event with a time of 3:59.15. He also earned Honorable Mention All-American accolades in the 3000m with a time of 8:13.00 at the national meet.
At the SAC Indoor Championships, Le Grix helped the Bulldogs to another SAC Championship by bringing home the gold in the 5000m with a time of 14:23.59 to earn 10 points for his team.
Le Grix earned the Track and Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season last spring.
The SAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year award is determined by a vote by the league's head coaches.
