Catawba’s Nathan Zuzga named Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Catawba College senior forward Nathan Zuzga (Troy, Michigan/Troy HS) is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon.
Zuzga earns SAC men's soccer Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career. A three-time All-SAC performer, Zuzga scored three goals to lead the Catawba Indians to a 5-0 home victory over Brevard Friday.
A 6-1 forward, Zuzga scored the Tribe's first goal and added two
tallies in the second half to help Catawba pull away. The Catawba
Indians have two home matches this week, hosting Pfeiffer (Tuesday,
7 p.m.) and Charleston, W.Va. (Friday, 7 p.m.).
The SAC Player of the Week is determined by a vote of the eight sports information directors of the league.
