65 South Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Student-Athletes Named to NFHCA DII National Academic Squad

Rock Hill, S.C. (TheSAC.com) - 318 student-athletes from 30 Division II institutions have been named to the 2022 NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. The South Atlantic Conference had 65 Student-Athletes honored.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

East Stroudsburg University had the most National Academic Squad selections this year with 24 student-athletes on the list.

Converse and Mount Olive each had 16 student-athletes on the list, Newberry had 15, Belmont Abbey had 13, Coker had four, and Wingate had one. 

Appearing on the list for the fourth time are 49 student-athletes — undergraduate four-year honorees have been distinguished in the award listing.
