The South Atlantic Conference Announces Field Hockey Players of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Field Hockey Players of the Week for matches played during the third week of the 2022 season. Converse forward Kilee Bradeen was named the offensive player of the week, while Belmont Abbey goalie Chloe Parker was named defensive player of the week.
Bradeen, a freshman from Bradley, Maine, led the Valkyries to a pair of wins last week, including a SAC win over Lincoln Memorial. She scored a goal and had two assists in Converse's 5-0 win over Lincoln Memorial. She then scored two goals in the 4-0 win over Maryville. For the week she scored three goals with two assists for eight points.
Parker, a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Va., led the Crusaders to a 1-1 record last week with a 1-0 SAC victory over Wingate. She made four saves and picked up the shutout win against Wingate. She then made a program record 16 saves in the Crusader's 2-1 loss to nationally ranked No. 1 Shippensburg. For the week she had 20 saves.
