103 Field Hockey Student-Athletes Named to NFHCA DII Academic Squad

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Over 540 student-athletes from 35 Division II institutions have been named to the 2021 NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. The South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas had a combined 103 Student-Athletes honored. 

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Bloomsburg University led all institutions with the most National Academic Squad selections this year, placing 25 student-athletes on the list.

Ninety-one student-athletes have received National Academic Squad recognition for four years — seniors or fifth-year student-athletes who qualify have been distinguished in the award listing.
