Limestone's Smith Named South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Academic Excellence Award Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –  Limestone field hockey defender, Abigail Smith was honored as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Academic Excellence Award winner for the second year in a row during the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Championships on Friday (Nov. 5).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) competing at the final site of the league's championship sports. 

Smith, a senior from Germantown, MD., has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and is a Business Administration/Economics major at Limestone.
