South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Announces Astroturf Field Hockey Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas announced its AstroTurf Field Hockey Players of the Week for matches played during the eighth weekend of the season. Coker's Britt Kabo was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Belmont Abbey's Chloe Parker was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Kabo, a junior from Maarssen, Netherlands, helped lead the Cobras to a 2-0 record after facing Limestone and Lindenwood this past week. Overall, she scored four goals, garnering 10 points with 8 shots on goal for a .500 shooting percentage. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week honor for Kabo.

Parker, a freshman goalie from Virginia Beach, VA., was an instrumental part in the Crusaders victories over Mount Olive and Lindenwood. Overall, Parker had seven saves for a 1.000 save percentage after spending 122 minutes between the posts. This is the second Defensive Player of the Week award for Parker this season.
