Wolves Come Back To Beat Converse In Double Overtime, 2-1 In Conference Tourney Quarterfinal
NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Newberry field hockey team beat Converse in double overtime by a final score of 2-1 on a goal by freshman forward Lily Drury in the quarterfinals of the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Tournament at Setzler Field. Newberry moves to 5-2 overall. Full story here
Limestone Earns Top Seed in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Spring Tournament
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Days after capping off a strong regular season with an overall record of 5-1, the back-to-back conference-champion Limestone University field hockey team has earned the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Spring Tournament. With the No. 1 seed, Limestone earns an automatic bye into the semifinals of the tournament, which will be played on Friday, April 2 on Bessant Field at the Queens Sports Complex in Charlotte, N.C. HARTSVILLE, S.C - The Coker Cobras took on Belmont Abbey in the South Atlantic Confernce Carolinas Field Hockey Quarterfinals this afternoon where they defeated the Crusaders 1-0. They are now set to take on Limestone in the Semifinals this comoing Friday April 2nd at 2pm.
