Bracket Set for South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Spring Tournament
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – With a record of 5-1, Limestone the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Spring Tournament.
With the No. 1 seed the Saints earn a bye into the semifinals of the tournament.
Queens finished the spring season with a 4-2 record to earn the No. 2 seed, while Newberry picked up the No. 3 seed with a record of 4-2. The Royals won the tiebreaker by virtue of a head-to-head win over the Wolves on March 26. Earning the No. 4 seed is Coker with a 3-2 record.
Belmont Abbey will be the No. 5 seed in the tournament after going 2-3. Rounding out the field of seven teams is Converse at No. 6 with a 2-4 record and Mount Olive at No. 7 with a 0-6 record.
The 2021 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Field Hockey Spring Tournament will begin on Tuesday (March 30) with quarterfinals to be held at campus sites, with the semifinals taking place on Friday (April 2) in Charlotte, N.C. at Queens. Winners will advance to the tournament final on Saturday (April 3), also at Queens.

Game 2: #3 Newberry vs. #6 Converse, 4:00 pm
Game 3: #4 Coker vs. #5 Belmont Abbey, 3:00 pm
Friday, April 2 (at Queens University of Charlotte)
Game 4: #1 Limestone vs. winner of game 3, 2:00 pm
Game 5: winner game 1 vs. winner game 2, 5:00 pm
Saturday, April 3 (at Queens University of Charlotte)
Game 6: winner game 4 vs. winner game 5, 2:00 pm
