South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Announces AstroTurf Field Hockey Players of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas announced the first AstroTurf Field Hockey Players of the Week for the 2019 season. Limestone's Kelly Diplock was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Queens' Avian Thompson was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Diplock, junior forward from Harare, Zimbabwe, provided the offensive spark for the Saints in their 3-2, double overtime win over Southern New Hampshire. Diplock had a hand in all three Limestone goals, providing the assist on the Saints' first goal of the game and then scoring the final two, including the game-winner in double overtime. This is Diplock's first offensive player of the week honor this season.

She recorded 11 saves on the week, including nine against nationally ranked No. 1 Shippensburg. She also picked up a shutout victory for Queens with two saves against Mercyhurst.
