ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas announced its AstroTurf Field Hockey Players of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 22 through Oct. 28. Limestone's Kelly Diplock was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Newberry's Amber Singer was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Diplock, a sophomore from Harare, Zimbabwe, posted five points on two goals and an assist in the Saints' 3-2 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas victory over Belmont Abbey last week. She recorded 10 total shots, connecting on two, including the game-winner. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week honor for Diplock.
