Anderson, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis defeated South Atlantic Conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.
With the win, the Trojans move to 10-2 overall and 1-1 in conference action while the Bears drop to 4-2 overall and 0-1 in SAC play.
The Black and Gold swept the doubles portion to earn the first point of the match while winning 4-of-6 singles matches to win their first conference match of the season.
Anderson travels to nonconference opponent Young Harris on Sunday. First serve is scheduled for 1 pm.
