Trojans Unable to Overcome Early Ten Point Deficit at Emmanuel; 77-67

Franklin Springs, Ga.—Despite a valiant effort, the early 10-point deficit proved to be too much for the Anderson University women's basketball team to overcome falling to nonconference opponent Emmanuel, 77-67, on Tuesday evening at the Shaw Athletic Center. The Trojans drop to 4-3 overall, while the Lions improve to 2-0.

"Tough loss tonight against a discipline team," said head coach Jonathon Barbaree. "You have to give credit where credit is due, they executed their game plan defensively and we were slow to adjust. They got off to a great start and this time we couldn't close the gap."
