Lions fall to Anderson in SAC Quarterfinal

ANDERSON, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team (3-3-2) was defeated 8-0 versus Anderson (5-1-1) Monday night in South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Spring Championship Quarterfinal action.
The Trojans netted five goals in the first half, beginning with Harry Ward's in the seventh minute. In the 32nd minute, Caleb Compton scored his first of the game. He added his second nine minutes later. Compton completed the natural hat-trick less than a minute into the second half, putting the Trojans up by six.
Eloy Allimadi netted one goal and collected two assists while Alexandre Cox-Ashwood picked up two assists.
Thomas Bertelsen led the Lions with two shots followed by Ethan Lee's one.
