Men's Lacrosse Falls at No. 10 Lenoir-Rhyne in Conference Opener

HICKORY, N.C. - Coker University men's lacrosse fell at No. 10 Lenoir-Rhyne in its South Atlantic Conference opener by a score of 22-2.

 Justin Beighey and Kristian Johnson scored for the Cobras, while Beighey and Cal Gibson each tallied assists in the game. Nathan Allan led the Cobras with four ground balls in the game, while another three picked up two ground balls each and three others scooped up one ground ball each. Allan caused two turnovers in the game, while four others each caused one turnover in the game. Ethan Hofert made 15 saves between the pipes, while Lou Webb made one save in relief.

The Cobras return to action on Saturday (Mar. 12) to host No. 4 Wingate in South Atlantic Conference action. Opening faceoff is set for 3:00 p.m. from the Coker Athletic Field, with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
