Volleyball Suffers Conference Loss to Queens (N.C.) Saturday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University volleyball team suffered a South Atlantic Conference loss to Queens (N.C.)  on Saturday (Sept. 25) by a score of 3-0.

Chelsey Blume and Taylor Parker each had a team-high six kills in the match. Five others contributed kills in the match. Rami Mullen dished out a team-high nine assists in the match, while four others dished out assists in the match. Parker led the Cobras with 13 digs, while Makayla Harris also had 11 and eight others posted digs in the match. Blume led the blocking effort with three solo blocks, while Carson Fuller, Parker and Naomi Earl-Reyes each had one solo block apiece. Fuller and Earl-Reyes each had one block assist in the match.

The Cobras hit the road next Friday (Oct. 1), for a trip to Newberry in South Atlantic Conference action. The action is set for a 7:00 p.m. start, with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
