HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker University baseball team fell to #15 Lenoir-Rhyne Friday (March 4) by a 17-4 scoreline.

The Cobras scored two in the third inning behind a Phill Griffor RBI single and a wild pitch that scored Reilly Hall. Coker added two more in the seventh inning when Griffor doubled home another run and Ashby Vining hit a sacrifice fly to score Hall once again. The Cobra effort would come up short on the afternoon.

Coker returns to action Saturday (March 5) for a doubleheader against the Bears. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM, with live video and statistics available at www.cokercobras.com.
