ANDERSON, S.C. – No. 14 Anderson University softball (6-0) continued its solid play to earn its sixth straight win, defeating nonconference opponent Saint Augustine's, 21-1, and ,31-0, on Sunday afternoon at the AU Softball Complex.
Junior Laken Maxwell earned the game one victory and her second win of the season, pitching the necessary innings to claim the victory. Sophomore Trinity Queen pitched the final two innings.

On the day, Anderson combined for 52 runs and 39 hits. Of the 39 hits, 17 were for extra base hits that included 10 home runs, six doubles and one triple.
All 13 Trojans that recorded an at-bat got at least one hit on the day.
Anderson returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts nonconference opponent Young Harris. First-pitch is slated for 2 pm.
