SALISBURY, NC – The Catawba College volleyball team faced the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in a South Atlantic Conference matchup at Goodman Gym on Friday night and fell 25-15, 25-21, 25-16.
The Bears were able to take advantage 30 total errors committed by Catawba and never trailed in the contest. Rachel Gonzales led the team with six kills while Ashley Johnson had five on the night. Libero Kary Hales recorded 12 digs on the defensive end.
The volleyball team will look to end their four-game skid when Wingate comes to Salisbury next Friday (Sept. 16) at 7:00 p.m.
